Certificate of conformity | COC

COC is a document certified by a competent authority confirming that the supplied vehicle is in compliance with the required specifications of the technical and safety standards. Document is issued as a certificate of conformity (COC) bound to the vehicle VIN.

COC is a document issued for every single vehicle according to the vehicle identification number (VIN). In case of the COC loss, the owner of the vehicle is entitled to apply for an issue of a COC copy fully substituting the original.

Vehicle registration in the EU member states

Particular EU member states are liable to fully accept the vehicle type approval by the European Community proved by the certificate of conformity (COC), and they may not refuse the vehicle registration.
